Our Jewelry
One of the founding principles of LM|J is delivering all of our designs at the highest quality possible. Our chains are made of a 24 karat gold overlay, making them suitable for everyday wear for a lifetime.
GENERAL CARE:
We advise you to not expose your jewelry to fragranced products such as perfumes, soaps, lotions, or cleaning products, as they may encourage discoloration or fading.
With minimal upkeep, all of our gold jewelry will last many years upholding their beautiful gold appearance without tarnishing or wearing. To improve shine/luster, all jewelry can be cared for simply with a polishing cloth. Store in a dust-free environment and avoid using jewelry cleaning liquid.
We will repair any damaged merchandise at no cost within 90 days of purchase. Please see our repair policy for more details.
OUR MATERIALS
GOLD-FILL & GOLD OVERLAY
We opt to use 24 karat gold overlay necklace chains and 14-18 karat gold filled earring posts/leverbacks for their long-lasting properties and high quality look and feel.
RHODIUM-PLATING
Rhodium is a precious metal related to platinum. It is one of our favorite materials to work with because its coating is incredibly durable and has a brilliant finish. It is essentially zero maintenance and will maintain its shine for many years without ever tarnishing.
STERLING SILVER
Although sterling silver is extremely durable, it can gradually tarnish with exposure to natural elements in the air. Our preferred method to maintain its white shine and care for our silver jewelry is to clean by using a paste from baking soda and water.
PEARLS
It's no secret that pearls play such a strong inspirational role for our designs. They are unique in that they come from a living creature, embodying the true nature of beauty. Lisa loves to work with a variety of pearl types depending on the type of look she is intending to create. The classic look of Tahitian, Cultured, Baroque, and Mother of Pearl pearls are typically found in her more traditionally elegant designs, while the organic look and feel of Keshi, Biwa, and Freshwater pearls lend to the more playful styles.
